Paris Jackson has had it with speculation about her love life.

One of the 20-year-old model-singer’s fans brought a new report to her attention that speculates she is “no longer a lesbian” and is “now dating a black man.” Needless to say, Jackson found the whole thing annoying. “Good example of how people just make things up and don’t check their facts,” she wrote on Instagram. “If after this you guys STILL believe what you read about me, gfy.”

The kicker was that the “black man” is her 32-year-old music-producer cousin Austin Brown, who is the son of Michael Jackson’s sister Rebbie Jackson Brown. They were out the other night together at an Eagles concert. (Cue something about “lyin’ eyes.”)
And Paris wondered why he was being described as a “black man” in the first place. “Who cares??” she asked. Why does that have to be part of the narrative?? A human is a human.”

For what it’s worth, the report originated on, which is “home of fact news in Nigeria.” Sounds legit.

Jackson’s love life was in the news last month when, after her ex Cara Delevingne was spotted kissing apparent new love Ashley Benson, she took to social media and wrote, “welp. she makes you happy so … whatever makes you happy…” She later deleted but left up a subsequent tweet that said, “girls smh.”

Much has been made of Paris’s sexuality, but she addressed that in July also on social media. After a fan asked if she was “bi,” she replied on her Instagram Story, “That’s what you guys call it so i guess but who needs labels.” She used a second post to clarify her comments, writing, “I came out when I was 14. … I’ve referred to the community as ‘my fellow LGBTQ+’ on stage before. I’ve talked about having a crush on girls when i was 8 in my Rolling Stone article. There are pictures of me kissing girls online. why are people just now saying this is news?”

Paris Jackson once planned to become a psychologist or nurse.

Despite growing up with celebrity parents, Paris Jackson says she never wanted to be in the public eye as an adult.

“I originally wanted to just kind of stay out of the spotlight and become a psychologist or a nurse at a psychiatric ward,” she told People.

She changed her mind when she graduated high school and realized that having such a platform could help her reach more people. “Having the ability to go into the acting and fashion world, I just figured why not use that to make my platform bigger,” she stated. “That way, instead of helping the world one by one with patients, I could help the masses.”

The thought of speaking to her forever-idol Stevie Nicks makes Paris Jackson extremely nervous. So nervous, in fact, that she almost can’t muster the courage to do it. For so long has the 20-year-old actress-model-musician admired the iconic Gold Dust woman that she is petrified of saying the wrong thing, of talking too much or too little. But Nicks puts Jackson at ease with the first syllable of her velvet voice, and the two speak about the perils of social media, the power of folk, and the necessity of finding one’s place in the music.

Stevie Nicks: Tell me who you are and what you love.

Paris Jackson: I’m very open about myself and my personality on my social media. I don’t post a lot pictures of myself, but I post a lot of pictures of the things that I love. There are a couple pictures of you on there, actually.

SN: I’m going to tell you this because it will make you laugh: I don’t have a computer, I just have a flip phone in case of a fire.

PJ: Good!

SN: I’m like your sweet old grandmother who lives down the street. I’m not on Facebook. I mean there is a Facebook [account set up], but I have absolutely nothing to do with it. I have never even been on your social media.

PJ: Honestly, the less I use my social media, the happier I am, and I’ve been using it less and less, but when I do use it I make sure to keep it very real and honest and true to myself.

Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, best known for its sneakers that look scuffed and beat up, released a short film to pay homage to the label’s home base: Venice, Italy. Titled Letter of Love, the short was shot by Italian director Luca Finotti and stars Paris Jackson, Emmanuelle Seigner, Roberto Rossellini, Jenke Tailly, and Luka Isaac. The stars, or characters, rather, were filmed exploring Venice, from drifting listlessly in gondolas to hanging out in an Italian square. It’s all pretty romantic.

The film will be released in eight chapters throughout September, with the first one starring Jackson out now. A warning from me before you watch: this will make you want to book a trip to Venice.
